Here’s what you need to know: • PARKING: Get there two hours before the show time for the best parking options. We parked in the Upper South Lot which was a short walk into the venue (still a steep incline so wear good shoes). Parking is included in your ticket price which is nice. If you miss out on that lot, you can park in the lower lots and hike up (stay hydrated! Altitude sickness is real and it’s like 6,400 feet up). You can also Uber, but ride share pickup is way down at the Jurassic lot, which is so far away. Shuttles are also an option! • SEATS: If you’re a super fan, closest to the stage is probably your go-to, but I wouldn’t sleep on Rows 20-50. They offer the best views of the whole venue together with the rocks and the stage. The sound quality is also good there! General admission tickets are cheaper but they usually are for rows 40 and up, and it’s a first come first serve situation. Buying reserved tickets was nice because you get a seat assignment so you can walk all around the venue without worrying about your seat being taken. • THE VENUE: As I said multiple times…STUNNING! It’s a once in a lifetime experience that I hope to have multiple times. There’s lots of vendors on your way up and stationed around. Food/drinks are pricey inside, but they allow you to bring unopened non-alcoholic beverages under 32oz in and snacks in a clear bag. Definitely adventure up to the very top for pics, live music, food, drinks, and the visitor center that tells the history of the rocks and who has played there. The visitor center also has restrooms and food. • LEAVING: Again, if you’re a super fan, stay and take it all in and sit in traffic blasting the songs on repeat as you leave. But if you’re just there for the experience, I’d suggest leaving during the last song and getting a head start to get out, as there’s only one main road in and out.
