How To Hide The Followers - Things To Know Before You Go:
📊 TikTok Media Details & Stats
| Video Title / Caption | : Things to know before you go: 📍Arethusa Falls & Bemis Brook Trail Off Rt 302 in Crawford Notch State Park (at Arethusa Falls Road) 🅿️ there is a large parking lot off Rt 302 at Arethusa Falls Road (there is also a smaller parking lot at the top of Arethusa Falls Rd, next to the train tracks, if you don’t want to walk up the paved road to the official trailhead) 🥾 it is a well-marked, 3.1 mile, out-and-back trail that has rocks (lots of them), along with gnarly tree roots through the trail. Bemis Brook Trail has a pretty steep uphill rock scrambling section (we were not expecting that, but even though it was tiring, it was easily manageable for us and the kids). ⭐️ Sidenote: Because of the rock scrambling section, we were glad we decided to take Bemis Brook Trail on the way up, instead of on the way down! It’s also the only way you’ll get to see those extra 2 waterfalls, so definitely worth it! You will want proper hiking boots (although the kids did it in sneakers 😅) 🚻 there are no restrooms, so plan accordingly 🐶 leashed dogs are welcome (but if you take Bemis Brook Trail know that there is an uphill rock scramble - we came across a couple who had to carry their dog up the rock scramble part!) 🗺️ Even though the trail is super well-marked, we always use the @AllTrails app (and my kids love checking in with the map to see where we are) 🍉 pack a small snack to have while you rest and enjoy the magnificent Falls. 💦 and if you want to wade in the pools at the bottom of the Falls, bring a towel and some water shoes (the rocks are brutal to try walk on barefoot - although there were lots of people stumbling around barefoot, so it is doable!) #nhwaterfalls #visitnh #arethusafalls #crawfordnotch |
