Used in sewing machines, projectors, conveyor belts… super basic but everywhere. Next week I’ll show you how to reverse the direction — any guesses how? Expanding on discussion topics around Opove O Ring 247 Health offer further context: In another post by @kyrstenseyes: “Oura Ring gets a 10/10 from me so far! 👀”. Creator @xo.aks: “excited to implement these changes and see if it makes a difference to my oura ring data!”. As noted by @thesmilofoundation: “The first sign my stage 4 cancer was growing wasn’t on a scan. It was on my Oura Ring. In late 2025, one number kept dropping: my HRV (heart rate variability). We brought it up to my oncologist at the time, but no one thought much of it. A few weeks later, my scans showed severe cancer progression. Looking back, the trend was impossible to ignore. For those who aren’t familiar, HRV is a measure of the variation in time between heartbeats and is often used as an indicator of recovery and overall stress on the body. While everyone’s baseline is different, many healthy adults average somewhere between 30-70+ ms. My HRV had fallen from around 45 to around 15. I’m not saying HRV can detect cancer. But lower HRV has been associated with inflammation, illness, poor recovery, and increased physiologic stress. My Oura Ring wasn’t detecting cancer. It may have been detecting the toll that progressing cancer was taking on my body long before we knew what was happening on scans. One of the biggest lessons from my cancer journey is that trends matter. Wearables may not diagnose disease, but sometimes they can tell you that something in your body has changed. Experiences like this are one of the reasons we started @thesmilofoundation If you or a loved one is facing cancer, join the Smilo Foundation waitlist through the link in our bio. And if you’ve ever noticed a health change on a wearable before a doctor found the cause, let me know in the comments.”.
