How Long Does Self Tanner - Today Marks 11 Weeks Since My
📊 TikTok Media Details & Stats
| Video Title / Caption | : Today marks 11 weeks since my dad was given a second chance at life. Eleven weeks ago, my brother made the incredible decision to donate 65% of his liver to save our dad. It was a selfless gift that gave our family hope when we needed it most. These last 11 weeks have been anything but easy. We’ve faced more challenges than we ever imagined—three hospital stays, two rehab stays, and weeks of living away from home just to stay close to the transplant team. We’ve learned things we never thought we’d have to learn. When his incision opened, we had to learn how to pack his wound every single day. When he came to the Brent House with a PICC line, we had to learn how to administer IV antibiotics ourselves. It’s been physically exhausting, emotionally draining, and at times overwhelming. But through every setback, we’ve kept moving forward. Now, for the first time in what feels like forever, we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Home is starting to feel like a real possibility. Please continue to keep my dad in your prayers. He is so tired. His body has been through so much. He’s hurting, he’s exhausted, and more than anything, he just wants to come home. And if you ask him what he’s looking forward to the most, his answer is simple… he’s ready to be done with hospitals, needles, and what he calls “that nasty hospital food.” 🤣❤️ Thank you to everyone who has prayed for us, checked on us, and supported our family through this journey. Every prayer has carried us a little farther, and we are so grateful. #livertransplant #liverhealth #liverdisease #transplant #livercirrhosis |
